Problems running project reality v0.917

i am trying to run project reality after i have installed it but i keep getting a message that PR.EXE has stop working the second i click on the game can anybody help?
it is version 0.917 and i am running windows 7

yeah sorry seems the stickies are out of date, I've PMed the relevant team members to see if we can get them updated

iirc you right click, set PR to xp compatibility mode and run the program as the administrator.

If you did a clean install, make sure to run the actual BF2 and load into any map first, then do what Rudd says

Don't run BF2.exe or pr.exe in compatibility mode, however run the shortcut as admin. right click-properties-compatibility-check the box that says something about run as administrator. Then you don't have to right click and hit run as admin every time.

Things you always do when you have a computer related problem, in order...

1- Check your firewall
2- Run as admin
3- Restart computer
4- Clean install of mod
5- Throw computer out window

Hi Guys,

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but I was having the same issues (Win 7 64 bit) and it solved mine.

Right click on the desktop shortcut, click properties, then 'Compatibility' and check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator'

Fixed my problems right away. Good luck!

1- Check your firewall

5- Use small hammer on side of PC
6- If step 5 fails use larger hammer
5- Throw computer out window
