Re: PR wont start
Im going out on a limb here, but its very possible that the 14 people who viewed the thread either didnt know the answer, in which case a bunch of people telling you they didnt know the answer wouldnt be very useful, that or they didnt feel like attempting to help someone who didnt provide any details for which to help them.
If you are incredibly impatient and would like an answer to your problem as soon as possible, it might be a good idea as such to provide more details like whether or not regular BF2 works, or what your operating system and hardware is, what patch you have installed, or generally what things you have tried to resolve the problem such as removing your profiles or clearing your cache, updating graphics drivers, closing programs and the sort.
If i had to randomly guess, which is all that i can do since you didnt provide any information with which to offer any help, i would say that you probably didnt install the 1.41 patch before you installed the 1.50 patch, or one of the patch processes failed even though they looked complete and would require reinstalling. Could be wrong.
A simple search of the forum turned up multiple topics that might apply to your case.

https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... p-pls.html
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f370-p ... 4-bit.html
Perhaps one of them will help. If not, please provide more details so that someone can assist you.
EDIT: I took the time to read your other posts as well, but you didnt provide much detail in them either so all i can suggest is that you start by delivering more information, then deleting your shader cache which is located: \Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache\ in XP or in \[username]\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache\ in Vista.
Also, running BF2 in windowed mode by modifying the shortcut will produce an error which you can then copy exactly and paste onto the forums or do a search on in order to find a solution.

Right click on shortcut.
Choose properties from bottom of list.
Modify the text in your shortcut's 'target' window.
("C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +fullscreen 1)
Change
+fullscreen 1
to
+fullscreen 0
Should look like this in Vista ( XP lose the (x86) ):
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start +fullscreen 0
