I was wondering if it would be possible to have it so you could ride in helicopters - without being seated. I have yet to test this, but I imagine you could walk inside the Chinook, then go to wherever without getting seated, then once arrived could walk out the back or the door on the right side of the chopper.
I am not requesting it to be made, I am just requesting the information on whether it could be possible to ride in some of the helicopters without being strapped in the spot you are. I'm just imagining the possibilities of loading a jeep into a Chinook, landing in a distant, but safe, area, then unloading the jeep and driving the rest of the way. So in summary, just wondering the limits of the BF2 engine.

why post this in the suggestions forum if your not wanting to suggest something, but your are suggesting something...
To start off with re-suggestion, please check the *** topic and search the forums in future.
To answer your question if its possible, yes and no is the answer.
The Merlin (and I'm pretty sure the Chinook as well) you can walk in the back of and move around and if your lucky you can stay alive for a bit but chances are that your going to die as the BF2 engine is pretty **** on this front even if we coat the inside of the chopper with a material that doesn't damage players, you can still die.
As for "loading and unloading vehicles" into the back of a chopper, doing it physically isn't possible, if two vehicles touch each other ingame like that ie, one is on top or inside anouther vehicle's col mesh the engine just spazes out and one or more likley both of the vehicles will blow up. It is possible doing it the same way we have choppers/trucks flying supply crates around but when it comes to vehicles it isn't very good.
