I got some bug with the minimap. Somme bulding and all tree wont appears.

promising location indeed, your desert groundtexture is difficult to focus at though due to a caleidoscope effect(dont know if that word is english)

It's a mirrored texture actually, should turn off the mirror option in Tpaint or use another texture.

You did a great job making the river look like the satellite photo. Just a thought before you spend too much time on the map: Since the area looks fairly repetitive, this might work better as a 2km map. I'm not sure if BF2 could handle that many overgrowth farms on a 4km. Just a thought... but either way I'm looking forward to see how this develops. If you need any help, start by doing a search on this forum and also bfeditor.org... but also let us know if you get stuck.

and a 2x2km is just 1/4 of the size of a 4x4km and should take about half the time or less

Ok, I made that with no mirror and its looking better.

I dont remember my settings when I start the map. When I make the first test in game I will measure the map.

In level editor, select the measuring tool.
Click on the corner of one side of the map and click on the corner on the other side.
Then hit enter and it should tell you how long that side of the map is.

And nice work with the river, it looks very much like the sat photo. :)

Awesome! I've seen "Ross Kemp return to Afghanistan" and I think you could use some of it for the terrain type :)

you haven't extracted it correctly and if you can't work it out, dont put it in your map other than putting it in via hand before testing/playing the map if you really need it.

nub DEV question, where are those big enterable buildings located in the editor hierarchy?

Maybe I need to unzip the latest files from PR main install...
