Upgrade time!

Right, my current rig sits at:

Core 2 Duo E6850 3Ghz
4GB DDR 3 ram
512MB ATI HD 4870

So, I've got a choice of one of two upgrades currently:

A Quad Core Q9650 3Ghz

or
A Palit GTX 460 Sonic 2GB


The main questions are, bang for buck, which will see the biggest diffence, and will the CPU bottleneck the GPU if I go down that road?

FYI, already leaning towards the GPU upgrade, for the PhysX and 2GB of VRAM.

I would go for the quad core right now, most games are starting to utilize quad cores so that'll give you a pretty good performance increase with those games, and the 4870 is still a pretty good card.
