Cant switch to detonator or cell phone?

If Ive placed an IED/C4, then switched to another weapon, I cant switch back to the detonator for the IED/C4. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm not 100% sure of the details, but that usually happens if you try to detonate too soon (= press mouse1)

Get a new IED/C4 and it should work again.

That, happens to me sometimes. I dunno how to fix it, maybe it is what the man above said.

That's for C4, but IED's don't have that safeguard. Have you tried right-clicking?

I think that this happens to the ied when he set the ied, and dont wait the dial animation and switch to another item, you gotta wait the dial animation...

You should be able to switch between the phone and IED by right clicking, you can do this having switched weapons as well.



If you attempt to blow the IED by right clicking immediately after having placed it (whilst the phone is still dialling) then you will not be able to bring out the phone, the IED basically becomes a dud even if you reload from a cache. This is to prevent exploits.

You may switch weapons whilst the dialling animation is playing, but you must not try to blow the IED.
