More selectable kits, Possible?

I always thought the Devs said it was not possible to get more then 7 different kits/weapons in the select menu. That the unlockable weapons in BF2:Vanilla, thing was not possible..

Well today, I saw this

They made it, that you can select a weapon of choice, with a kit.

Ive played PR since 0.2, And I have never heard about this, or seen it.


What about this system? Is it possible for us?

Already suggested many times.
Too much work for very little gain.
