X-fi softwear problem

I have a Creative X-fi titanium fatality pro sound card and i uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them when they re-installed there was no audio control panel i updated my drivers and this dint work, so i searched for the Audio control panel and downloaded and installed that then it kept telling me there was no MUI resource, i'm about to format my PC because of this and hope that a fresh install of windows will fix the problem
