Thread title too Vague:
"Carrier" doesn't give enough info on what the thread is actually about.

Re: carrier
Wich Essex do you mean?
CV-9, an Essex class aircraft carrier from world war two that still operated during the 60's,not in south east asia however.
LHD-2, an Wasp-class amphibious assault ship that went into service in 1992 (currently featured in bf2 and PR)
Wich cant have seen possibly seen action during the vietnam conflict.

Re: carrier
The DEVs could make any carrier they wanted, its just it would take a *long* time for very little gain.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Re: carrier
Creating a carrier would be hundreds of hours of work to get it done at any acceptable quality level, the likelihood of it happening is somewhere very near 0mezlay2 wrote:that ain't a problem right?

The F-18 was a piece of **** next to the far more capable and epic F-14 until the massive upgrade and redesign, and personally I think that if they spent the same amount to redesign the F-14, they'd have yet another superior aircraft.Hitman.2.5 wrote:ITS JUST A CRYING SHAME! A) Don't even fit into the timeframe of PRV;
B) Take an incredible amount of work to put in to.

I dont know if i'd say that..the F-14 was designed mainly for air-air but still had some air-ground capabilities while the F-18 was very capable to own in both but wasn't really as legendary.Tirak wrote:The F-18 was a piece of **** next to the far more capable and epic F-14 until the massive upgrade and redesign, and personally I think that if they spent the same amount to redesign the F-14, they'd have yet another superior aircraft.
