So here it is, Im offering a PC parts recycling program for the PR community. Weither its that you upgraded your PC with newer parts, or just feel like giving away an old rig to help out. Everything still in working order will be accepted.
I will not lie to you, I will probably be the first one to build up a rig using some of these parts, but as a sign of good faith and recognition, Im ready to continue this program to help out others. I know alot of kids locally who could use a PC, weither its high end or not, and im also ready to help out PR gamers who cannot afford upgrades on thier highly outdated rigs. As of lately I rediscovered my passion for building rigs, so for me this is also a hobby.
The idea here is to use expertise and a vast array of parts to build working PCs. I can assure you that none of these will be sold. None. I despise people taking advantage of others generosity to make profits. I actually hate them with a passion. I will post regularly here in the forums the rigs that Im building and will offer them to long time members for free, as long as they are willing to pay for shipping costs given that they want a full rig (case and PSU can be heavy).

I will accept the following:
-CPU : Dual core or higher, perhaps a few high end single core P4 cpus.
-MOBO: PCI-e, DDR2 or higher, DDR mobos if they are in good shape. AGP boards can also be workable if I get the Video Cards for it.
-RAM : Any types of RAM, DDR, DDR2 or DDR3.
-HDD : IDE, SATA or higher
-Video and sound cards : All of them. As you know, these will make the difference along with RAM in outdated PCs.
-high end PSU, Cases and CD/DVD drives: Any if you are willing to ship them. I cannot afford multiple 30-40$ shipping costs.

I will accept all of the above as long as they are still in working order. Dirty or not it doesnt mather I will clean them, however a little dust off would be apreciated.
As I said earlier this will be a totally FREE service, I will be working on these rigs for free with sometimes the assistance of my retired info technician pops. I will also pay from my pocket shipping costs for valuable and needed parts if the donator isnt willing to pay for it. (nothing too heavy plz).
If this goes against forum rules, please excuse my adventure and delete/lock this. I am in no way trying to scam anybody with this, I just thought this would be a great win - win situation for all of us. Weither its getting rid of hazardous material by recycling it or giving a PC to someone who cant afford it, I think this will go into our Karma meters
As for eventual donators (who I thank in advance) Please contact me via PM to see what we can work out, Parts & shipping talking. As for now I cannot accept European or East-European donators for obvious shipping costs reasons but who knows, maybe this will go far.
I think everybody should have the chance to experience a great PC. As for me, Im saving up for a new rig which will go down into action by next month, but I thought it would be great to consider used parts and maybe invest some of that money into helping others instead of getting super duper new parts.
This entire enterprise depends on you guys so we will see how it works out
