i already unistal and instal the game 3 times =X and continue the same bug =X

happens in all faction and maps and game mods =X

Are you sure you're not just within 125m and you haven't pressed the left alt key?

Left alt turns the marker on and off.

I'm having the same issue. Chevron is not showing above the compass. Spawn screen range indicator is also always zero.

However, for most players both seem to work OK. I have all settings set to high except texture quality which is at medium. Video card is ATI 5850 with 10.8 drivers.

Are you sure you're not just within 125m and you haven't pressed the left alt key?

Second picture shows that his range to marker is more like 150m, one small grid being 50m. But guess you can't say for sure.

That's a 4x4km map, one small grid is 100m. That marker is several hundred meters away, the chevron should have appeared; the marker is in the north and he is looking towards the north, too. - this seems to be a bug indeed

I see the chevron myself, however I had a squadmember today complaining he couldn't see them either.

Allowing mods\pr\tr.exe to communicate with BF2 and pr executables seems to have fixed the problem.

Using desktop shortcut provided by installer made my firewall (Comodo) to promt whether to allow this event. Previously I had started PR by using custom made shortcut that connects straight to game server and auto-logs me in.

Correct, tr.exe needs to run for the markers to work.
