Hi,

Sorry if i havent posted in the right place, please move this thread if it is.

I was watching the F.O.B's being placed and dug out, however is there a way to maybe make walls of sandbags ( 1 Tonne Bags of Sand ) so you can actually make a fortified base around 6 foot high? because im tired of making a firebase and having 1 RPG round ,break everything... realistically mortars can do damage inside fortified bases however RPG's cant because the walls are high ( Made from sandbags ) and you can make the base as big as you need so when people spawn on the F.O.B they dnt get raped by incoming fire or RPG's lol.
Something similar to the fox wire but sandbags, it is possible and realistic thinking that the sand came from the back of the truck with the crates.
Also totally changing subject, i noticed other day APC gunner was around 500 Meters away and after i through 2 smokes down for cover to run as i was pinned down, he saw me through the thick smoke bank and several others thought it was kinda lame aswell.
Is there a way to make the smoke thicker or enemy viewing look kinda blury when they look at smoked positions?

An RPG can penetrate 90" (7.5ft) of sandbags according to the above source, So unless you have a HESCO wall it probably won't stop an RPG. What damage it would do on penetration I don't know, though the source does state that it is effective against infantry hiding in buildings.

A large portion of APCs have thermal optics (hold 'T' to get the menu up when you're driving/gunning an apc). Thermals effectively null smoke so what probably happened was that you popped smoke, then the APC switched to thermals and killed you anyway :D

Thermals can be nullified by squad leaders smoke as it blocks them, however the SL only gets 2 of them so its practically useless in forested/open positions.
