I can run BF2 100% fine but PR lags bad

I have a fairy good PC, i can play most latest games in all high settings without getting any sort of lag but for some reason i am getting bad lag with PR. I can run BF2 all maxed out perfectly but when i play PR i am constantly getting lag spikes and its kind of annoying.

My specs are;

- Windows 7 64-bit
- Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.6GHz (2 CPUs)
- 2GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 (updated with the latest driver)
- DirectX 11

Anyone know what the problem is? I should be able to play this without any lag shouldnt i?

Turn down your settings, specificly Textures and the Dynamic Lighting/Shadows.

PR hogs a lot more resources than other games, especially BF2. It makes better rigs than yours chug.

Lag spikes can indicate that you are experiencing "hard faults" try to increase your available system RAM by closing down some unneeded programs. Defragging your harddrive might decrease the lag duration slightly.
