Hello I am new to the Project Reality Forums but have about 20+ hours on Project Reality severs. I was in a game and we hit some anti-tank barriers( the ones that are like big 3-D Xes) at slow speed while in revers. Our truck flipped on its side and well it sucked. I was wondering could there be a recovery vehicle to flip it back over or if you have a full squad together and push it over some how with something like the CPR resusitate that meidcs have to push trucks and or jeeps over. You even could set up a pulley system if you have some trees but I don't think the pulleys can be implemented into the BF2 engine.
Sorry if this has already been said(I checked and didn't find anything about this so here is a new post for it) and sorry if this should of been put into the suggestion forum but it didn't let me post one.

Re: Recovery Vehicle
Welcome to the forums;
Two things:
1. Recovery vehicles have been discussed time and time again, but they will not be used/made, as said by many R-devs. If you flip your vehicle, I find that pushing it with another vehicle works if you can do that.
2. Suggestions forum is closed for now. Even if it wasn't closed, it wouldn't have allowed you to post due to you being new.

Re: Recovery Vehicle
Ya man, not cool. It would be awesome to have recovery vehicles, BUT we have trucks with repair stations, which do the same thing....

Re: Recovery Vehicle
Well, thing is, if we DID have recovery vehicles, we'd have yet another squad or asset not dedicated to actual combat. This squad would be dealing with an only occasional occurrence, provided that vehicle drivers know what they're doing.

Hi there ramster, welcome to the forums!
At the moment the suggestions forum is not open due to the recent release of the latest version of PR, we keep it closed for a while after each release so as to allow people to get used to the changes so we are not inundated with suggestions after each release.
Also, this has come up before. When making a "new" suggestion, once the correct forum is opened, please read through the Already Suggested Suggestions (***) thread stickied at the top of the suggestions forum and make use of the search function provided at the top left of the foums.
Cheers,
Bob

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
