Just re-installed everything from scratch, now nothing works.

So I was having that crashing problem everyone else was having where you play for an hour and PR freezes the computer, then you try again and it happens in less and less time. So I tried everything everyone suggested, but nothing worked and it certainly isn't a problem with my computer. So I thought maybe it was the downloads somehow, so I uninstalled everything, deleted everything, including the patches, and downloaded everything again. I installed everything just fine. After installing BF2 and the patches, I played it for a bit because I ran into the problem where PR doesn't start because it can't find any profiles, and it played fine. Then I installed PR and I ran into that problem anyway (it brings up the initial pop-up, then stops responding). The problem is that it has also caused the same problem with BF2, so I can't even start that up. I'm running everything in administrator and compatibility mode.

Happened to me. All you have to do is go to your bf2 file location then find a folder called profiles and delete it. Restart computer run PR on admin just in case and your good to go, although you might need to make a new account after that.

Never mind, I got it to work by troubleshooting the compatibility mode and then running it in Vista SP2.

Unfortunately all the reinstalling was for nothing because the game continues to crash on me for no reason. I guess I'm done with PR until the next patch comes out.
