Hey guys,
Since upgrading to 0.957 my Razer Diamondback mouse middle and side buttons no longer work. The buttons / mappings work fine in BF2 but do not register in PR. Even trying to map them in PR doesn't work. PR doesnt seem to recognise the button activity. BF2 on the other hand allows me to map whatever mouse buttons I want.
I'm using Win 7 Pro 64bit
Razor Diamonback 3G / Driver - Win 7 ver 1.00
PR is launched from the desktop icon / run as administrator
UAC is set to low.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Razer Mouse - Configurable Buttons Not Working - BF2 is fine
This might actually be a bug.
I do have the same problem with mapping extra mouse buttons in PR but have never tried in BF2 so I asumed it was just not possible.
My workaround is to asign an unused keyboard key to the mouse button (assign "Advanced" to the mouse button). You will be prompted to fill in a key. I for my self use "Home (Arrow down), Home (Arrow up)".
Once you press the mouse button it will simulate the "Home" key as if it came from the keyboard.
Now you go and assign "Home" to what ever you want in PR. (i.e. I use grenade slot)
tl;dr:
- Assign a virtual keyboard key to the mouse button.
- Assign the simulated keyboard key to the action in PR.

Re: Razer Mouse - Configurable Buttons Not Working - BF2 is fine
Thanks for the reply SC. Unfortunately your suggestion didn't work. It just seems that PR does not recognise the button activity at all. BF2 on the other hand has absolutely no problem recognising them.
Are there any other Razer users out there that are having this issue?
It worked fine in the previous version of PR btw. I've tried completely removing it and re-installing.

Okay, problem solved!
The issue is to do with WIN7 and UAC. Turn UAC off and the extra Razer buttons work!
