My optical drive is stuck inside my PC.
It has destroyed a CD that was in it(I can hear the pieces)

Now I've tried the paperclip trick and I've tried ejecting it from My Computer and With the button, but nothing is working.

I've also googled, and can't find anything.

Any help?
I really don't want to send back my PC, I have exams and term papers coming up.

As this is probably constantly trying to read the pieces you first off will want to unplug it from the power (open the pc's case and detach the power cable off the drive).
This should stop it from making things worse.

You will need a replacement for that drive. As you can not be sure whether or not it was responsible for that mess.
As an alternative you could maybe get a USB-stick for data transfers. But if you want to play games that require CDs you will need a replacement.

I'm also stuck in the "warrenty" clause, my mother got this PC for me, and decided she was gonna be nice and get the 2 year extended warrenty, but I'll see if a retail store is allowed to replace it without voiding the warrenty
