Game loads but no gameplay ???

Okay so i am running a high end rig and I have battlefield 2 deluxe edition, with the special forces. I just got the project reality mod 0.95 and downloaded it correctly all three parts, and when i load the game it works fine, i can create an account and log in. but when i try to start a map it just minimizes and closes out my game. please help. i can run simultors fine on my pc I play arma 2 all the time

Welcome to the forums

Please ensure you patch with 1.41 and then 1.50 after installing special forces.
Also, please be sure to run PR as an Administrator and ensure punkbuster is up to date.
If you can post your OS, and a screenshot of your Shortcut TAB (in win7)
With your Target field populated.
In Win7 mine is. "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" (quotes required).

okay i didnt patch it first, so im redownloading everything just to be safe. so hopefully i can be experiencing some combat her soon
