Hercules

Post by Bunnyman »

This would work for several conventional factions, basically a large troop carrying aircraft that allows the faction to spawn and parachute from there. It could be limited to a certain amount of spawns per flight or merely a short time span such as is the case with rallypoints. Ideally the Hercules should be able to drop supply crates and possibly even carry one light vehicle (APC etc) that can be driven into the aircraft and can disembark once the plane has landed again.

Silent eagle and Yamalia represent parachute operations, a 4km map is too small for a C-130 to be deployed realistically.

not possible due to engine limitations, and would be pointless. Drive APC into plane at main, fly around, land at... main and drive out again.

Look at this thread here. Also note this text:
We are not accepting equipment suggestions (this includes everything: weapons, gear and vehicles) for any factions for which we have an MA or knowledgeable people within the team.

This includes both US factions, the British, the IDF, the PLA, the Canadian, the Militia, the German, the Hamas, the MEC, the Insurgent, the Taliban and the Russians.
The developer team has MA's with combat experience and knowledge of the worlds militaries inside and out. If a C130 isn't in game at the moment, its for a reason.

It was just an idea, if you have jets I don't see why the Hercules would be way off. Another optiopn might be to be able to call it in once a game like a UAV allowing a supply drop and temporary spawnpoint for paratroopers

Ok, ok. I'm relatively new here. I made a mistake. Lock away...

In the future read the stickys in sections before you post so you understand the rules in each section and can avoid being infracted.
