Hi
I got one suggestion about kit requesting.
My suggestion is to remove ability to take limited kits from supply crates, but make ability to make deployable "weapon storage" near FOBs to take limited kits.
Supply crate can be make build and rearm roles.Just my gameplay suggestion.
Suppy crates and limited kits.

Not a bad idea, so many times i've spawned at a fob and thought 'Shit, i need a *insert kit here*' and there's no supply crate around...
I think this is the kind of thing you're getting at?

No,just supply crate so much paper against some destruction effects.Insurgent Suicide Car after blow behind the wall for example. And make more balance for maps with helicopters(Dropping supply crates under front line to get some limited kits like AT,AA etc)MrTomRobs wrote:I think this is the kind of thing you're getting at?
Thats why I suggest that.
P.S Am not fan of limited kits.

You that supply crate represents, among others, a pack of weapons?
Now i was going to say that you would have to build a FOB to take your special kit, and that would suck, but what I realized is: This would limit requesting limited kits (a lot of limits, heh) only to FOBs and main and apcs.
This would represent changing a (for example) guy trained for SAW for a guy trained for stinger, using your spawnpoint.
What is the place of apc in that situation? the ability is there to make inf stick with apcs, and is not much used, hence i think it should stay.
just my 2 pennys
-lucky
PS: maybe make kit requesting lable at FOB itself? No need for new static and no need for more digging while building FOB

Re: Suppy crates and limited kits.
why cant we get different weapons off of a crate? last time i checked all soldiers are trained on the machine guns and LAT weapons, and depending on availability a DMR can be used by anyone. the whole point of the supply crates is to simulate a crate full of what weapons you might need and additional ammunition. Stuff that you are not likely to use but should bring along just in case, like a heavy machine gun or a HAT kit. If a real life patrol came across something they need to destroy and there's little risk in calling in a chopper, they'll call in a chopper to drop off what ever supplies they need (ie. C4, HAT, w/e)
this suggestion makes sense from one point of view but does not from another. If you're looking at it as trading a guy for another guy, then yes it makes perfect sense. However For simply trading weapons, not so much, And i can say for a fact that a soldier is trained on enough weapons platforms that there shouldnt be a need to call in a new guy each time you need something new.

Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.
