Shooting while ducked down in the turret?

Anyone notice that? We were playing the other day and noticed when we were at Strike at Karkand that while driving from the train wreck we came up on a jeep and the turret started shooting at us but I did not see anyone in the gun....we fired back and blew it up but it was just weird.....the turret turned and fired at us but no one was it the turret...I'm guessing they were ducked down...

Just wondering if anyone else had seen anything like that...

I noticed that. It's a display glitch, the person is actually standing up, but the server/your computer does not recognize the fact that he stood back up.
