Remove Kiowa Camera hitpoint

Hey guys, i wan't to suggest this because in almost all the bases the only thing you can hit as OPFOR is the camera which destroys the entire chopper......
So what im suggesting is basically slow or remove the the hitpoint in the camera or make it with more armor to avoid situations like this.
By example, tanks suffer this too, if you hit the very extreme of the turret you finish killing the tank......

If you did hit the optic pod at the top of a Kiowa with a RPG or SPG9 it would cause a fair bit of damage to the chopper it was mounted on, probably render it unsafe to fly.
But this hasn't been discussed before, and I can understand possibly changing it from a gameplay perspective.

Well it prevents rape and is easier than making all Hesco walls a bit higher, so yeah I support this one

I would also like to see the hit-boxes on every soldiers head removed as to avoid headshots.
No wait, that would be stupid and unrealistic... nevermind!

overkill its because they keep causing a ticket loss with people camping the main base with an SPG or RPG waiting for the Kiowa to spawn, its gameplay related not realism, don't be a butt head

Nah i think this is a real good suggestion, why would shooting the camera on top a of a helicopter cause the engine to fail, assuming that there was no shrapnel that went into the rotors or anything.

Yeah guys, why would a relatively large explosive warhead detonating inches away from the rotor hub cause any serious damage?
Suggestion's merit is gameplay wise only and deserving in that respect.

Would the RPG detonate on impact, or would it just blow the ball off the top?

But what about .50 call bullets ripping the lenzes apart. Would that damage the engine/helo below it?

His point is that when the Kiowa is in the Main base in Kokan, The camera will be visible from outside the base... So any technical can kill the Kiowa even when it had landed...
Although I was never killed that way but it seems like a nice suggestions!

Well when i posted it i was thinking about the .50 cal......
maybe you can just low the .50cal damage to that hitpoint if possible, the SPG when hitting the camera should only damage the chopper and it should be repaired soon if on helipad.
PD: This happens on Karbala, Kokan and Ramiel, and I didn't played another map where it could be done.

I think the issue here is one of allowing people to fire into the main.
I know our Kokan server allows you to fire small arms into and out of main (meaning nothing explosive, and nothing bigger than 7.62), and this has not been an issue.
Issues like this need to be fixed in the correct place, which in this case is by server rules.

The problem isn't with the Kiowa, the problem is simply may design. This isn't an issue on Kashan Desert for example because you can not easily base rape the main unlike Kokan.
As such I see no reason why to remove the col mesh off the camera ball and what should be changed is Kokan itself.
Locked.
