Crash joining server.

My PR is crashing if I click a server. Kinda weird because I played PR yesterday with no problems. I tried some ''solutions'' on the forum but nothing seems to work. I tried AncientMan way with the regedit part etc. but nothing worked. After that part it keeps telling me my CD key is not valid. I've been using this key for 3 years but now it's not valid anymore?! I'm going to reinstall everything now but if it still says my key is invalid I'll be pissed off.

Windows 7
4GB Ram
HD4850
AMD 9750 Quad-Core

Edit: Wasn't able to uninstall BF2 the normal way, had to re-install Windows 7. Installing BF2 again now and PR I will let you guys know when I'm done.

Edit2: After re-installing still didn't work, it does work after using Afterdune's launcher.
