cool, something we might be able to use but the final lod only needs to be 10tris, doesn't need the opening in the back and LOD2 doesn't need the rolled up back bit either. Speaking of the rolled up back bit, it looks rather artificial and odd to me, give it some straps and slagging points etc.

OK am make LOD changes. But i don't agree about your opinion about rolled back.Civilian and army trucks have 99% same details.
Sorry but I don't find any better quality photo.

I don't think you understand what I mean.

The bit rolled up at the back at the moment is just a perfect cylinder, which doesn't look at all realistic when really a rolled up canvas like this will first of all be slagging where the straps are not holding up and will also have other bits of variation too it.

Take a look at how the MAN truck has its rolled up canvas at the back and compare it to yours and you should see what I mean. Also note how the MAN truck has its rolled bit on the underside of the opening, not on the outside like yours.

the drooping bits for a start is over the top, needs to be much more subtle. Also you should have a strap in the middle as well as on the sides so the middle bit should be up as well, and the drooping bits bits should then be on either side.

This is kinda hard to explain but you should also mess up the rolled up bit as well since its still a circle, add a little noise to that bit of the model but only a little bit :)

Also I still think it would look better if the rolled up bit wasn't fully on the outside like you have, or at least merge it in a little so it looks part of the rest of the cover as at the moment it looks totally separate.

please, let us first get the model proper done, before going into any texturing.

i didnt mean angels :P , i meant angles.

one thing i notice from the last render is that the canvas are currently paper thin, which looks unrealistic and odd. make them like 2 cm thick, you can check out the current canvas on the M35 for that. of course this only applies to the parts wher you notice the it (back part).

also you havent worked on the points rhino made yet, so no need to get into texturing yet :)

ок aм do that if wish.but i think my version could be better.

P.P.S - After that what BIS make with Russian army in ArmaA2 I belive them, that really unrealistic.

defiantly better but note this pic here: http://ualb.de/games/arma-armed-assault ... hinten.jpg

It has two straps, not on the ends but at 1/4 the way in from each side, and its tight around the straps and not around any other bits. It doesn't have any slagging bits on the ARMA2 one but I would add a very, very slight droop, but nothing like to the extend your doing. Also I would squish up your rolled canvas on the x axis a little.
