Hi guys!
Just got my computer back on the feets, now with Windows 7. I experienced I wasn't able to play BF2 online, but I didn't mind, since I only wanted to play PR.
I have now downloaded the new version of PR, and installed the first 2 parts. When doubble clicking the 3rd part, it tells me:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
My world stood still! What does all this mean? I am not really into how to change specific settings on the computer, so please, if anyone can help me, I will be shooting flowers in your directions!
Get me back on the field mates!

Hi Neoc. I have been battling with EA for so long, but I hope my answer helps.
1) you probably tried this, but lemme put it out there. Right click on the 3rd patch. You will see a compatibility tab, set it to run in xp service pack 2. Check if that helps.
I also had the same problem with pr patch # 1. When I search for my downloaded patch files, for some reason my windows had the same file in two different places, so i just clicked on the pr patch 1of3 with the nametag icons and not the system icons. (geez im no techie so i really hope im making sense)
2) I received the same error with a number of programs, but all I did is change my windows 7 UAC (user access control).

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I just tried the things you suggested, but none of them seems to be working for me. If I change the compatibility mode and run it as administratior I get a new message: Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\xxxxx\Downloads\pr_0957_full_part3of3_setup.exe'. Make sure you typed in the name correctly, and then try again.
I am desperate! I freaking hate when my computer won't work!
I am considering going back to XP just to be able to play PR, but that shouldn't be necessary. I am very happy for your suggestions though, really!
If anyone have any ideas how to get this shit working, I would be pleased!
