So when i try to run Bf2/PR it just goes black like its going to load the game and then it says mode not supported. Now this message is not a windows message its the message given by the desktop makers at the top says the resoultion im at. It then restarts my computer. Its weird cause it has started doing this like 4 days ago when i could uusally play bf2/PR whenever i want and i have so for for 2 years now. Other games play fine like arma 2 its just Bf2/Pr it happens. Ive tried every Resoultion and still the same thing
please help mE!!!!!

run as admin and windows xp. thats the best place to start.
or you could roll your computer back to when it was working

It's a system recovery (don't know why I called it a roll back
). your computer periodically makes recover points for you to "roll" your computer back to a point that it was working properly. you can find this option in the control panel.
WARNING: you have to do this fast or it will start to remove old restore points and it will remove any thing that has been updated, and installed past that point.
I had to do this when PR no longer wanted to put out any sound.

It's not a system recovery.
It's an out of range protection switch, because u can't run the resolution u set.
Can u list ur specs, also go into ur bf2/profiles/video folder and manually edit the res to something like..idk 800x600..
This may get u into the game menu at least. If not then your gfx card may be on the way out.
