VSync causes BF2 to stop working before/after getting into menu

So For some strange reason every time I enable Vsync using NVIDIA control panel it works for a few seconds then just stops all together, no error messages, it doesnt CTD, just stays there untill I control+alt+delete and open task manager and close BF2

I dont remember having this issue before...


Any thoughts?
