Strange stopped working error

It seems BF2 wide and not simply this mod however maybe someone here can help. It's consistent and the same every time

Right as the map finishes loading I'm introduced to my desktop screen, as if I had alt-tabbed. And of course when I try to tab back into the game it crashes and I get a BF2.exe stopped working.
