Quick question: Will PR work with Steam downloaded BF2 (in Win7)?

Post by Dadodil »

Hey, I'm thinking about picking up BF2 solely for PR. I'm gonna download BF2 on Steam and I'm currently running Windows 7 as my OS, and I'm wondering if this is gonna cause any problems with PR?
I've done some quick searching on google, and found that people have had issues with PR in Win7/Steam download, however these were old threads and I'm wondering if this is the case currently.

TL;DR: Will PR work if I download BF2 from steam (or do I actually need the hard copy of it) and will Windows 7 cause even the slightest problems with the game (like graphic glitches for example)?

It should work fine, but my experience is that people often have a lot of problems with steam copies. It's your choice though, you could download from Steam, EA Store, or buy a disc. Is there a price difference between Steam and EA Store? If not then I'd get it from EA just to be safe.

Discs preferably, EA Store/Down Loader next. Been running the EA DL for a few years now .... no issues.
