SOLUTION - Bad/Slow Performance

Post by Garack »

I tested a lot to get more frames out of my [email protected] and GTX470 @Win7 64.

In most city maps i got frames down to 25 sometimes...

I tried a lot, drivers , gfx settings, other OS....

now i found a solution:

PR IS VERY CPU INTENSIVE....my gpu is in idle mode while playing.

so my new [email protected] runs like a dream...

I tested in offline settings with faluja west on a very cpu intensiv city spot:

35-38 frames with Q6600.

70-100 frames with I2500k !!

Finaly i can play online the big city maps and frames NEVER drop under 50 :)

An i2500? is that like a laptop or something? What is the CPU specifically?

Did you know they recently had a recall of Sandy Bridge processors?

no they recall sandy motherboards cause of the 4 3 GB Sata connectore. I dont use them . 4 6 GB connectors are enough.
