Me and a friend of mine recently spent some time working with marksman and sniper rifles. We noticed though that the ACOG m14 tends to vastly outperform the m14 with regular scope.
The deviation seems different for one. We both were able to belt out shots faster and with greater accuracy using the ACOG than with the regular scope.
We've yet to do testing with other faction DMRs, but I'm curious if this is working as intended?
I understand the scope giving greater zoom can have an effect on your aim on your target, but the deviation itself just seems to be working differently.

Re: M14 ACOG > M14 Scope
My guess the deviation is exactly the same, only the zoom is different giving you an illusion of having a better accuracy while using the smaller scope.
Edit: And how wold you measure the difference in accuracy anyway? ;D

Re: M14 ACOG > M14 Scope
The deviation data are the same for both rifles in the .tweak files but I also feel I'm more accurate with the ACOG or the SVD.
Any zoom different than 4x seems like a drawback to me anyway (apart from sniper rifles). When you're used to one specific layer of zoom, it's definitly easier to shoot targets on the move using it.

Many thanks to everyone involved in the making of the best videogaming experience ever !

I think the ACOG version is more accurate in PR also.. I've noticed that and I always use the ACOG one.

Huh? There is m14 with ACOG?
How do I never notice this stuff... I thought it was left-click scope, right-click ironsights...
