Vehicle Transportation
Im guessing this has been discussed before, but i did a search and couldnt find anything. Im just wondering if it would be possible to transport certain vehicles using Helicopters and or Trucks. Being able to transport vehicles such as Inflatable River Boat Rafts, Desert Patrol Vehicles(DPV), and other smaller vehicles. Because nothing would be cooler then strapping a River Boat Raft on the bottom of a UH-60 Blackhawk and loading the Blackhawk up with some guys and dropping them and the raft off in a river in the middle of marsh. Also stuff like dropping off a DPV to some friendlies who need one would be awsome.
GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR ALLIES

The USMC uses the CH-53E Super Stallion (heavy lift squadrons) and older CH-53D Sea Stallion (medium lift squadrons; to eventually be replaced by V-22).solodude23 wrote:I want a RIB inside of a MH-53 or whatever model the Marines use... would be fun to drop out in it with a team of guys.....
The Naval Special Warfare 10 or 11 meter RIBs cannot be carried internally by the H-53 Stallion / Pave Low or H-47 Chinook helicopters. However, the Zodiac CRRC (Combat Rubber Reconnaissance Craft or Combat Rubber Raiding Craft) can be carried internally and deployed from the ramp with combat swimmers in a "low and slow" helocast. This photo is courtesy of an active duty Pave Low flight engineer:

The CRRC can also be paradropped or helocast from suitably equipped H-60 helicopters (Navy SH-60F and HH-60H Seahawks and possibly Army and Air Force special operations Blackhawks and Pavehawks) using what is known as a "tethered duck" configuration.

And of course, it can be cast from larger boats, such as the Mk V Special Operations Craft used by NSW Special Boat Teams.
