I dream of PR

i cannot be the only one who has had dreams about PR, so please dont make me be the only one to share my story.

so i found myself in the Kashan bunker system stareing at a tank. now i realized when i woke up that it was an M1A1, so i realy had no reason to fear it, but i decided that hanging out in the middle of the desert alone was a bad idea. i ducked into a back door at ground level for some cover. as i was moving through, there was a broken section of wall, and i could see the barrel of an MG3 above me, fireing out into the field. i pull out a grenade, throw it up into the air... and competely miss(even in my dreams, i cant hit sh*t with my grenades). it does prompt him to jump down, and we scuffle for a little bit, before i finally grab a small dagger from the grip of my gun(?) and manage to stab him in the leg. i then shove him off the side and move on. just a little further in, two pilots wander inside, one of which is chewed up pretty back. i ask what happened and one said "we got hit". i helped them inside and told them i was going back out to look for supplies.

i find some field dressings scattered around, all wrapped in blue plastic rather then the cloth wraping. i think to myself that this is no where near enough to help out the wounded pilot, and i was going to have to go back out again for more. im picking them up and stuffing them in my pockets, when someone starts talking. i turn around and found the MEC guy i tossed off the roof laying on his side on a broken wall and bad mouthing me. i grabbed a few more dressings before i finally turned back. i was sick of him talking so i told him if he was going to keep it up, he was going to help. i grab his web gear and start draging him towards where i left the pilots.

then i woke up. fun dream, and ive had more, but this is the one i remember best.

haha, no different from me, except that I had a dream of flying a huey on Operation Barracuda, my rotors hit the trees and crashed while trying to land in the woods. Then I respawned at a FOB and led the search party to find the copilot and passengers of my crash site :\

I dreamed once of PR.


I was SL and I tried a lot to put a maker like attack here or move here using the commom rose but I didn't show and I started to get anoyed. Can't remember the rest, but I'm pretty sure I dreamed with PR.

Yes, I have dreamt of PR. One that I remember was almost like a lucid dream, maybe it was I don't know how to tell. I realised I was dreaming and in the dream I realised I was playing a game but instead of guiding the character with mouse and keyboard I was the character itself.

Karbala, southern edge of the city. I was insurgent but with blufor kit, aimpoint. I was in the kind of building that has a few rooms in the ground floor and you can walk through it, green walls I think. I don't know if that building is really in the map or in that location but it's my dream anyway!
The dream was very brief, I walked through the building and came across a squad healing and reloading on the southern side of the building very close to me. Instead of spraying burst at them like I would have normally done in that situation I put two or three well placed rounds into every one of them on single fire. The end.

I don't know why that's stuck to me, maybe because it was such a vivid dream. I only wish one could have the same amount of precision and control over the character in game and not just in dreams.

Had a dream once that I was commander (which is funny, since I almost never play commander) and I was in this supply truck on one of the desert insurgent maps, with two humvees following me.
We come around this corner, and there's a Gary coming right at us, and I just start screaming, and then I woke up, and I was going "Ahhhhhhhhhhhghghgrhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!" really loud, and there was a clap of thunder outside.
I was freaked out, seriously, I was like shaking and stuff.

I've had plenty of nightmares, but that one with the Gary may have been my scariest.

I daydream of PR man. Its like once youve given one to many orders as an SL or CO. It just comes automatic for some reason.

I don't remember my dreams very often, but I remember dreaming of playing PR (or something very much like it) in my dreams a few times, usually flowing into other sorts of games.

The PR dream I remember best was on a map with an environment like Yamalia, but in a more dusk setting and with a large industrial area somewhere. I was on the Canadian side fighting the Russians with pretty much the whole team assaulting that industrial area. I was in a small squad and grabbed a marksman kit (an M14 still) from a crate at a fob quite far away where I had just spawned, because according to the squadmembers the Russians were very well set up in the buildings at the objective. After a little walk I arrived at the objective and joined my squadmembers. I couldn't really seem to hit any of the Russian soldiers and got hit myself, but I managed to heal myself up with some patches. I went off alone to flank around to a building on top of a small hill, but there was one enemy inside it. We ran around chasing each other with pistols through the building untill I killed him.

Meanwhile though the objective got overrun and we had to retreat. At that point the dream got like some sort of CoD game, where I hopped onto the back of a technical driven by my squadmembers and had some futuristic plasma gun. We went over a highway through a desert like area with other cars driving on it as well, which apparantly lead to the enemies main base that we had to attack. Nearing the base I fired the plasma gun at a gas station for no reason, which exploded in a giant ball of fire. As we pulled up into the enemy base there was a fight going on between some friendly terminator like robots and enemy soldiers. I saw the enemy commander and went after him, but he and a guard fled down a hallway leading to a river. The commander and his guard waited around the river bank. To sneak up on them I climbed over the cliffside that was next to the river and hung from it. I then tried to move to them but I lost grip of the cliffside and fell into the river, which was when the dream ended. It was pretty cool.

Later to make it more clear what you should do to ease your pain, it tells you directly that you should take your "dagger" to finally stab a man(remember the backpassage from before), although it also tells you to not get too involved with him.

Firstly whatever you might think of yourself, you're not as conventional as you might think(insurgent hidden under BluFor kit). Or in other words, you're hiding your true identity.

Now I'm not quite sure but I suspect that you have fears of premature ejaculation(you come across the squad just as you enter the building) with an added fear of embarassing yourself by the small amount you are able to fling.

For me, it's the opposite. The weapon fires right through the enemy, turns into something barely recognizable (once wielded a mix of the Tavor and AKM ?? , runs out of ammo/did not have any ammo in the first place, fired rockets do not explode, I can't drive/stay in a vehicle without it crashing... Playing PR is far more enjoyable than my dreams of it
