General discussion of the Project Reality: BF2 modification.

All this talk about zombies made me think about an other possible gameplay idea.

Normal PR factions against aliens! :mrgreen:

Aliens could be infantry that have weapons with higher accuracy, higher damage and less recoil and deviation.
They would have more health, they won't bleed out or get supressed.

The gameplay can be balanced with something like a 16 vs 112 ratio.

It coud be a normal AAS mode with aliens starting from a mothership in the sky or maybe a crash site.
Or even better, it could be an insurgency mode where factions with tanks and choppers are insurgents.

I think just like zombies, this could be an interesting event in future.

Edit: Btw i am not even talking about modeling an alien faction or anything. I am just talking about a once in a while event with a faction with changed weapon features.

its alot of work to create an entire new alien faction tough,intresting plan too

Aliens could be real but it would take all new models so I would judge the chances of this happening about as high as discovering the Moon is really an abandoned battle station, left unfinished due to union labor actions following the failure of the Empire to pay death benefits to the contractors on the second deathstar.

I don't think its a bad idea. All of you arseholes saying that OMG GUISE ITS NOT REALISTIC THIS ISN'T STAR WARS, everyone supported the zombie event, but not this? All it would require is a bit of coding and changing some things about the weapons.

I actually support this idea, but I felt like adding some humor to the whole thing :P . But the fact is, I don't see zombies, or Extraterrestrials working out in PR, its just not what PR is striving for. Maybe if it was being done by the community it'd probably workout but so far I just don't see it working out.
