i installed PR fine and i havent altered any files at all but when i try to run it it becomes unresponsive and eventually closes itself. the prError log reads -
System.ArgumentException: The directory name C:\Documents and Settings\Malcolm J. Gliddon\My Documents/Battlefield 2/Profiles/Default is invalid.
at System.IO.FileSystemWatcher.set_Path(String value)
at o..ctor(String A_0)
at g.a(String[] A_0)
the shortcut is targeted to the right folder and i cant even run it from the original folder its in.

failed. bf2 wont start. i reinstalled bf2 and even redownloaded pr and the same thing happens. however theres no error log once i delete that file. when i try to open pr it opens bf2 and instantly crashes. theres got to be something im not doing right.

CrustyDoom, are you still running windows 2000?
could this be an issue?

Re: cant execute project reality
im running windows xp 32 on a 1600X1200@75hz monitor. bf2 works fine before PR installation and crashes after.
heres what ive done so far -
reinstalled PR and BF2 (after downloading patch 1.5 it says i have a newer version installed?)
redownloaded PR and reinstalled
adjusted video.con files in both my documents and BF2 folders
removed profile.con in both folders
adjusted settings in VBF2 before installing PR
all this troubleshooting still leads to a launch starting on the BF2 splash screen, followed by a crash with the message 'ERROR: Unable to find BF2Audio.dll module'
apparently many people have been having similar problems.
