Upgraded drivers for Graphics

I upgraded my ATI 5770 drivers via the new steam thing. Since then I have been getting 10-11 FPS drops. Before I would not really ever pass below 30.

Check if your previously made driver settings have been reverted - you might have redo them.
If you have worse performance with newer drivers and did not have problems with your old ones it is recommended to simply revert to the older drivers you were using before.

Also keep in mind that this is not representative for all future drivers. You can still try getting newer ones and they might actually improve your performance - but this is a trial and error thing.

As for gaming I usually recommend getting the latest drivers from your manufacturer (ATI) directly.
