Closes On Map Transition

Whenever maps transition for some reason PR just closes and i get sent back to my desktop, without a "Project Reality has stopped working" pop up, it just closes.
It happens every time without fail when i either:
finish a round and the map changes (closes during loading screen)
disconnect and start up another map
and sometimes even if i just disconnect

any help available would be great thanks (P.S i'm not very good with tech so if you could simplify any tech-speak for me that would be greatly appreciated)
