How popular is PR these days?

Post by xreyuk123 »

Hi Guys,

I remember playing PR years ago, and was just wondering what the interest is like on BF2 now? Still lots of servers going and people playing?

I was also wondering if my system is capable of playing PR? I have the newest model, standard MacBook. Core2Duo, 2GB RAM etc, running Windows 7 on Bootcamp.

well it pretty much sucks if your in usa ... Hardcore server's rotation is lame atm (imo).
The 128 player server setting is still not public. only the 1 crappy test server.

you would lose nothing trying to run pr :)

PR is the most popular BF2 mod nowadays, including vanilla itself.

both FH2 and PR enjoy a very healthy player base

Project Reality - PRSPY - Server and player browser and tracker - Create a buddy list - Launch PR directly

PR SPY allows you to see what servers are up at that moment

always good to see Brit return to teh fold, you'll probably notice teh Brits look a bit different to the last time you might have seen them.

Thanks for the update guys.

Will I be okay running BF2 and PR on my MacBook? What kind of settings can I expect?

Cheers.

I run mine on a new HP Pavilion Netbook, and the newest macbook is surely more powerful than that.

There are enough players in PR for the average user to join a full server.
