About the Mk.12 problem

So, about all the missing Mk.12 files that make the game CTD,is there anything to do about it? :confused:

jks, nah, i dont think so. ita like the files are stuffed or something. ive tried.

you can get the gun working if you download the old PR/PRSP core v.8

then what you will do is swap the MK12 with the one you have now.

By "swapping",do you mean changing the Menu Client, Object Server and Object client files?

just swapping everything related to that particular weapon.

the files from the menu, objects folder.

I swapped the files from menu client and objects server but it crashed at around 62%. Any ideas?

when swapping weapons run PR in Windowed mode.

normally, youll get a decent and self explanatory answer since your only swapping in between versions.

So the error message will only show up if I run it in windowed mode? How do you run in windowed mode?

yes, but even then it may not give you an error message "if you mess up royally"

go to your PRSP shortcut and right click and select properties.

then in the target box change the value of "fullscreen 1" to fullscreen 0"

that should do it.

If I try to play in windowed mode it is like zoomed 2x. As well as that I can't click my profile to log in.

Give your 'windowed' mode some screen dimensions.
"E:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr_sp_08 +menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 1440 +szy 900 +restart
I use 1440 and 900 because my normal screen resolution is 1680 * 1050, so i went with 1 size smaller.

So choose an appropriate size for whatever you are using and everything will 'fit'.

it says cant find the bundled mesh make sure it exists paraphrased

The meshes are in PR (MP) objects, but IMHO it's not a good idea to swap them if you want to play PR (MP) online...
