You need to make a new Shortcut its not like the older versions were you can just use the pr folder swap technique. Now you can play both games without constantly switching the folder names.[R-DEV]fuzzhead wrote:yea CTD for me when i go to multiplayer... also it uses the vbf2 menu/movies... im assuming something did not get copied over right.

and I lost my CD code so I cant realy reinstall on other drive.
2. Are their many severs?
3. Are their any australian severs?

Don't bother starting or downloading the game till tomorrow morning. About 8 or 9 hours I think.

Expect it tomorrow. Had a typo in the installer, and a few smaller things.

It helps to actually read the original post.godofurmum2 wrote:what is combined arms

Combined Arms is an add-on to Project Reality. You could think of it like an expansion pack just like Special Forces etc… The goal of Combined Arms is to emphasize the Combined Arms aspect of Project Reality (duh) where infantry, armor, and air assets all coordinate their efforts to form a more effective fighting force; doing so in an environment that implements another level of realism. In addition to serving as a place for players to enjoy such an environment it will also serve as a location to do large scale tests on vehicles, weapons, and game play concepts that may be implemented into the regular PR mod in the future to see if they function as intended and to observe how they affect game play.

If you have no maps on local, navigate to my documents/bf2/profiles. Go into your profile folder and open general.con with notepad. Look for the line with "setusebots 1" change 1 to 0.

The thing with Combined Arms is that it's taking things way to far....

2 interpretations of your post.NyteMyre wrote:The thing with Combined Arms is that it's taking things way to far....
First, Combined Arms is taking things? way too far? Taking [what] way too far?
Second, Combined Arms is taking things way too far...[from what?] from PR? from reality? from teamwork?
I value your opinion, but I wish you were a little less ambiguous.

May I inquire as to what "too far" is?NyteMyre wrote:The thing with Combined Arms is that it's taking things way to far....

I would have to agree. Laser targets on every vehicle kind of makes things way too easy.NyteMyre wrote:The thing with Combined Arms is that it's taking things way to far....
