Wow. First time in all my time playing has someoen actually tried to arrest me! The putting hands up really works well! Baiting the silly BLUFOR is much much easier now! Since none of them want to play as the guy that has the shotgun cause they dont get their magnified scope, they can only arrest you with zipties.
I also LOLd when I saw two civies with their arms up in front of a tank. Dunno why he didnt just run them over.
Also, when I was running as a civie, i noticed a lot of my team had been picking up BLUFOR guns.
Yea, them being able to START with a scope LMG sucks. But it isnt THAT hard to kill him and use it for ourselves.
About the borked up insurgent guns. It is REALITY that a mukked up AK isnt as accurate as a well maintained AR. That is just a cold hard fact. But when done right, insurgents can easily take out a wondering BLUFOR team. I was a civie, and saw a brit pop up. I put my hands up and he didnt shoot at me, but started comign towards me. But then an insurgent LMG came out of the "mawsk" and took him down.
BLURFOR can complain as much as they want about civilians and all that. But remember. You have better guns, better equipment, and you have TANKS and APCs! You still definately have an advantage if you play smart.

Actually they CAN lift up mines. The engineer can easily. I am not sure on the ieds though. But those are pretty small, and easily go unnoticed, or useless due to killing the sapper.
A well maintained blufor squad can easily take out a dug in insurgent team. People just need to be willing to forgo their snipin' urges and NOT pick the scoped rifles. A breeching slug will take out that annoying collaborator easily, get you a kill point, and +10 intel!
