One thing that bothers me about using close combat scopes (red dots) and ironsights for clearing an area is that you move so very slowly while looking down the sights. (I will refer to this as scoped for the rest of the post). I realize that it is to represent you moving carefully but what it causes is slow movement around a corner so you can be picked off. If you don't scope in you can move faster and spray, and this is generally more effective than actually using the ironsights up close.
What I would like to see is a moderate increase in walking speed (not as fast as non-scoped, maybe 3/4 speed) instead of the snails pace that is used now.
Ironsights/Red dot movement speed increase while 'scoped in'

Thanks: I forgot to mention that stupidity, the two speeds should simply be switched as the 'crouch walking' is the speed walking should be.gazzthompson wrote:crouch, u walk faster. near that of normal walking.

i think standing should remine slow, have you every tried to keep a sight up while walking... if you want to stay accurate, you hold it up, if you need to secure a building, smoke it first

I think the idea is that crouched is the "combat glide"snooggums wrote:Thanks: I forgot to mention that stupidity, the two speeds should simply be switched as the 'crouch walking' is the speed walking should be.
but i do think walking scoped speed should be higher but less accurate than crouched
