Question on Deviation
Let's say your a sniper, and you've waited 8 seconds for minimum deviation. However, a leaf is in your view, so you tap the A key. Do you have to wait another 8 seconds? If so, that sort of sucks.

Re: Question on Deviation
Yuhp. Every time you move via WASD, deviation resets. So move out of the way of the leaf before you've been waiting 8 seconds...VividSynergy wrote:Let's say your a sniper, and you've waited 8 seconds for minimum deviation. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Re: Question on Deviation
Same applies for the AR's deployment phase right? Atleast for appropiate accuracy.

Re: Question on Deviation
It the same with all guns, if you move from side to side/forward backward you have to wait again. But the interesting thing is when you change stance the deviation stays the same, so you could go prone behind a wall pop up shoot a guy then go prone again....Urko23 wrote:Same applies for the AR's deployment phase right? Yeah although you'll still be able to go crouch < standing and vice versa without affecting deviation.Dr2B Rudd wrote:supposedly fixed in upcoming bf2 1.50 patch (and therefore consequent PR releases)

I think this could be remedied by slowing down the crouch animations which seem unrealistically fast at the momentjigsaw-uk wrote:Yeah although you'll still be able to go crouch < standing and vice versa without affecting deviation.
