If I may ask, how much imagination did you add to the map.

Where did you find the balance from the real place and what you had to add to make it better?

i put in quite a lot of imagination at first, but once Jonny started advising, we found a good balance between realism and gameplay.

it is hard to really explain how we got to this point. It was a lot of us debating and trying to combine our two visions together i suppose, although that is not the best way to put it.

I guess you can say all we did is took the real life place, to put it simply; shrunk the city, expanded the paddy fields.

All i gotta say is that without critique both of my maps would still look like utter **** today....

This is looking really good Hugh, can't wait to play it! It would be nice to have some AAV7's on this map, for both landing and land transport. By the way, are Abrams and LAV-25 skins the default woodland Vanilla ones? Because they look really, really high quality (just my opinion).

Honestly, i wish more maps had the detail and fullness it looks like you have....

T_T it makes me wish.... a lot... T_T and now it makes me sad..... cause i don't has the patience to map... o.o at least.. not with my **** computer....

o.o once i upgrade it though, i think i shall give it an honest try... ^_^ at least.... > > once i get around my friends more.... (priorities my friends)

EDIT: Are you going to be able to shoot through those banners on the lamp-poles? That would be really really awesome (cause they should be like paper... > >) (even if it doesn't tear, the fact that you could shoot people through them should be good enough)

Chief - Nope, they were skinned by [r-con]Shiftys1023
Its just that there have been no woodland maps that featured an Abrams or a LAV25 :p

I believe the woodland LAV use to be on Qwai and a few other maps until the US Army took them :p

thanks for all the replies and hard works guys, I'm stilling working out internet issues for my main computer(the one I map on) so it may take some time, or no time at all.

good work jonny on the new static.

Lithium I will try and get the map uploaded soon somehow, I think I will release it although it is WiP.

Finally, a decent sized Chinese map with some urban environment. Looks awesome!
