If you get a clean shot, you want it to kill the ********.
I'd also like it to shoot down enemy jets....

how about making a thermobaric heat round for infantry and an at round for armour, lat is not effective on infantry of course with ap but thermobaric would be and it would make enemy infantry think twice about engaging a sqd if they see a lat gun

those are different rounds, HEAT is a shaped charge anti-tank
and imo thermobaric is a bit overkill :-P

Is it possible to change the kind of ammo just like a tank?

When deployed L-AT, it's automaticly on heat or heit w/e. When you press F it's changing to AP. :o

A bit XD
Just make the round blow APC's up like 35% of the time and kill the crew like 90% of the time and it'll be great. Then the APC will just stop when it's hit and the weapon will have done it's job.
Also add L-AT to the spawnlist? ^_^

ha, a thermobaric missle launcher would be awesome. set a detonation distance and fire away.
but i'm sure some idiot would find it a great idea to carry it onto the field in insurgency and give it to the enemy.

Mag-link two different weapons to share the same ammopool; it would be essentially two different LAT's, with two different weapon spaces.

The M-72 was used in Vietnam to clear out bunkers as well as using it against armour.

M-72 Light Anti-tank Weapon (LAW)

The M72-series LAW is issued as a round of ammunition. It contains a nonadjustable propelling charge and a rocket. Every M72-series LAW has an integral high-explosive antitank (HEAT) warhead. The warhead is in the rocket's head (or body) section. The fuze and booster are in the rocket's closure section. The propellant, its igniter, and the fin assembly are in the rocket's motor. No inert versions are available. Appendix B provides information about appropriate gunnery training devices and ammunition. Although the M72-series LAW is mainly used as an antiarmor weapon, it may be used with limited success against secondary targets such as gun emplacements, pillboxes, buildings, or light vehicles.
