yea dude look at MAG for PS3 its massive but the lag...would be prevented if the host is reliable if its processor and bandwidth can handle it you wont notice any difference from a 16 man server

That too all server owners/mods should be able to control how much people they but usually they chose what they want when they rent the server from the host

Tell that to the other developers who think its funny to hide thing like "EA suck balls" on objects through out the map, I wouldn't give you 128 players if you did that to me, no wonder EA wont.

Lol ive never even seen 64 players bunched up on one section of the map. I'd like to see a screeny of that.

More likely they will reduce the amount of layers so they can have lower network usage by players and more for the environmental effects.

+1, true story.

Sadly this is what the gaming industry have come to;
GFX first, gameplay second...

The next time the Devs have a juicy lan Party at Bovington, ask the server dudes to try this out. Based upon the post from the Halflife forum, this is really only feasible in a lan center.

Bovington..anyone?

@ Dev1200

Its more like 24 players...total.

The LAN suite at Bovington only allowed for 24 ish players per side, unless they've upgraded, we wouldn't even be able to fill a 64 player server.
