Its the same Kroon, he just shifted the texture a bit when applying the camo to the model so the 2 vehicles are not identical.Kapt. Kroon wrote:We bought the aussie one dude, it should be the same I guess. I checked some pics.

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
the reason its diffrent is coz every bushmaster IRL has a diffrent pattern on them (well same pattern but diffrent position) so then all the bushmasters IRL dont all look the sameKapt. Kroon wrote:We bought the aussie one dude, it should be the same I guess. I checked some pics.
HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

We finaly got the Bushmaster ingame
A lot of thanx to [R-DEV]Tonnie for the model and texture and [R-CON]J.F.Leusch69 for the coding and everyone else who helped for this awesome model.

The skin is stil very much WIP so you dont need to point it out, we have someone working on it.

I added his name to the list, also in the design plan.

Do some things float? (flag, antenna, etc) Could be a 'bad image', but looks like it's not attached to the vehicle.
Anyhow, as Rudd said: Fennek + Bushmaster = epic win

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
Don't know if it has been answered before in this topic, but what vehicle is the counterpart of the bushmaster ingame? (i.e. Vodnik or BRDM2 or Stryker)
And do you need crewman kit to operate it?

Yes you need a crewman kit to operate it.
I think the best counterpart would be the vodnik, but on the otherhand like the Fennek it should be a class of its own because its armoured and has a remote weapon station.

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
[R-COM]Glimmerman is right, IRL there is no real counterpart to the bushmaster, and i am not being a Bushmaster fan-boy here, i am simply putting the facts out there.
the BM has unequaled terrain crossing capability for a vehicle of its size, it is also the most protected vehicle in the MRAPII class. it carries more personal than equivalent vehicles, is capable of carrying more armaments than equivalent vehicles, and has NEVER suffered a casualty in a roll over event yet. it is also not possible to be trapped inside a BM in a emergency event, as there are built in fail safes to prevent this.
IMHO the dutch armed forces have equipped them selves with the best option for the job they seek to perform, and one i believe to be the best vehicle in its class.
p.s. feed back from NLD has been instrumental for the development of the global bushmaster variant, which is the latest version to take to the roads.
cheers
