Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
hence why i agree with glimermann, even 'INGAME" it has no close counterpart, its closest challengers are the vodnik or fennik, and both of these fill dissimilar roles, and i believe neither vehicles are capable of the BM's heavy support roles.

I think we have found people more chauvinist than Frenchies, the Aussies
Well, nice work Tonnie on this vehicle as usual, you have even made the Dutch texture.

no we're Australians not chauvinists we just happen to be right more often then everyone else*
oh gee black-wolf thanks for reading my post.
i don't enjoy people misunderstanding me, i know English is a troglodyte of a language, but its not like i am speaking Chinese here, just take the time read the post and try not to misquote or take my words out of context. i give you the same courtesy, it would be nice to have it returned. if i am wrong i have a tendency to admit it, as it means i actually learn something new. so if you'd like to educate me or if i am being a berks hunt how about letting me know.
thanks.
* if you cant tell that's considered a sarcastic and ironic remark by a larrikan Australian.

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
Just to sum things up for everyone and end the debate and continue the topic as it was planned:
In real life the Bushmaster is a extremly mobile, IED proof troop transport fitted in some cases with a remote weapon station, it has no equal.
If you would have to compare it with somthing it shares some features with the Nyala, Mastiff, Vodnik, Dingo or Buffalo.
What can you compare it with ingame? it has the same role as a Stryker but looks like a truck in appearance and size but its heavy armoured and has a remote weapon station.
The Fennek is a 3 person scout car, irl its counterpart would be the BRDM family of vehicles, ingame it should be a class of its own because of it low silhouette, sensors and weapons you cant compare it with a hummer or landrover.
For the texture, the base texture for the Dutch version was done by [R-DEV]Tonnie, our textureman NemeanHavoc is improving it, still WIP but looks like this currently:

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
Is it possible to add suspension via child objects to the bushmaster? With such a huge gap between the chassis and the wheels it's seems like a lot of empty space.

I am no modeller but i think it would be possible, but that would mean extra poly's to the model.
Perhaps we can do some stuff texture wise but i dont know how this would look, might look horrible.

Personally I think they would add much needed detail to those areas of the vehicle. Seeing as the Bushmaster is so high off the ground it would be worth the extra poly's I think.

no offense to the dutch but the raised flag doesnt look right. (not just this one, any one in bf2 like the one on the leopard)

Re: [Vehicle] Bushmaster
Its all WIP, the skins for the Bushmaster and Leopard are still being made, when i got the Bushmaster model from Tonnie it had a Australian flag, on a Dutch skin, i quickly made a red white and blue for the screenshots, Nemeanhavoc is redoing the whole thing so when we display the final result you will see a proper flag if you will see the Dutch flag at all since IMO it should be a unit flag.
And that goes for the tank also!

Dirt on the wheels and under the skirts would look quite good.
