Right I know some people are quite interested in this mouse and what my thoughts on it are so going to add to my earlier points.
had this mouse for well over a week now and pretty much used all aspects of it now in lots of different scenarios. Overall I still really like the mouse and think it was worth the money thou again, a few small things I'm not quite happy about.
The problem with no dedicated PTT (push to talk) button on the mouse hasn't been too much of a problem. With the profile software that came with the mouse I have been able to quite effectively set up my "back" button used for going back a page in your browser etc to be my mumble speak key, and then the button above that my "number 3" key for switching to my pri weapon in PR. Thou this only applies when I have the "BF2.exe" running as my active program (so if I'm alt tabbed and on anouther program it goes back to the default stuff). This is pretty good and works well but dose have it's little problems when you get out of game etc, still would much prefer 1 or 2 more buttons on the mouse
my main thing I have come to dislike about this mouse is it's middle mouse button. The mouse wheel itself I love, and the titling of it is kinda cool but not been able to use that for much more than just browsing (you can scroll left and right with the tilt on the wheel) but when it comes to modelling, mainly 2D modelling on your top, side or front views the middle mouse button becomes some what of a problem for me, since I do a lot of panning in these views and to pan you need to press and hold down the MMB, which for some reason I aint fully worked out is a bit of a problem when modelling since for some reason when you push it it dosen't always recognise, and its pretty hard to push down (compared to other mouse MMB's I've used). I might just need to get use to the new MMB some more, I aint done much "2D" modelling recently since lods and cols which I've been mainly working on are mainly doing most of the work in the 3D view port. Hopefully I'll get use to it or I'll find a way round it since right now its really starting to annoy me since it means I spend x2 as long as I use to in my 2D views
I forgot what they call it but the accelerated scrolling is kinda cool, doesn't work on everything (thank god) but for web page browsing its really nice to be able to shift though a page with a really fast scroll (but hardly turning the wheel, all down to the speed you turn it), and then only a few lines with a slow turn of the wheel. This would be really bad if it worked ingame since if you where scrolling though weapons it would be kinda annoying, but for PR/BF2 at least it dont. Thou when playing Supreme Commander, I found this accelerated scroll was on in there and was kinda annoying since you do most of your viewing with scrolling in and out and just found myself scrolling in/out way more than I wanted. Didn't have a chance to get use to it thou before supcom crashed my entire system (as it dose... hope to god they have it fixed for supcom2).
the DPI changing buttons are pretty good, pretty well placed thou sometimes when I go to grab my mouse quickly I do find myself hitting one of the buttons by mistake then having to correct the DPI change but not a big deal.
For the last 5 or so days I've been testing out how long the battery in this would last and pretty sure its more than 30hrs as stated on the box. Most nights I have been turning the mouse off but still found it to last 5 or so days. The really nice thing is it only takes like 2 or 3hrs to fully charge the barrery up, and it also uses a standard NiMH AA rechargeable battery which I'm pretty sure you could easily find a replacement for it if you wanted to have 2 fully charged barriers to play with on the go without having to do any "recharging while gaming" thou tbh I find the recharge cable fine, using it at the mo and the mouse feels pretty much the same as just wireless, thou the wireless feature is nice and seen no "lag" from moving the mouse etc.
Few other things I could go on about like the replaceable feet etc but overall, the mouse is really nice and would recommend it, thou if your a modeller and do a lot of panning with the MMB you might want to reconsider
