I know really noobish. But for some reason i can't get the paintbrush tool to work....

that's the current layout, since the PLAN faction was abandoned. If there is PLAN camo for the chinese soldiers somewhere.. maybe I'll put them in the map?

i also have problems with that method
just pack them into your maps client and objects folder by using a packing batch file
and then go to the staticobjects.con and change the paths of the objects to levels/yourmap/...

also, here is a little idea I have for layouts.

(warning, large image, also is unfinished)

blue - 64 - all assets
red - 32 - mostly tank combat, possibly heli
green - 16 - amphibious assault, possibly heli
purple - infantry - Inf warfare in city
yellow - permanent bases (4 is an abandoned FOB not in use by USMC in 64/32)
orange - temporary spawn points for infantry layer

WOW why arnt you 100 making the maps :D this is how a map should look... especialy with all of the enterble statics :P ..... where did they come from??? they are GREAT! lol.... we need to use those statics and all the new ones being for the upcoming maps.. this map looks like its going to be a great place to play :D lol way to go !

I only see 1 new enter-able static:

Most of the buildings are from vanilla BF2, some are reskinned Middle Eastern statics with Chinese signs (http://i38.tinypic.com/rrl8ih.jpg).

The other enter-able buildings are already on maps like Fallujah (http://i38.tinypic.com/oiasu1.jpg).

The new housing blocks (http://i37.tinypic.com/219zbq.jpg) just have enclosed rooms behind the windows so they appear more like real buildings and less like painted concrete rectangles.

But regardless of whether they are enter-able, they are a nice change of scenery.

alright, I got the map working in game, except all the custom statics don't show up. hmm'?

you dont need to add thous lines into your init.con, you only need to add the ClientArchives.con and ServerArchives.con into the map's server.zip, with them also telling to mount the correct files.

Also if it helps my client and server archives.con files for op snow storm.

I have the exact thing, I've scrapped everything and redid it all about 3 times now...

I've zipped the maps with your code too rhino, the editor one crashes hehe.

I'll just upload and see if you guys can run it or maybe fix it.

got it working i guess, just walk around the map and saw "some" custom statics, dont know if all work but some are working :)

will upload the map and send you a PM.
